Hallo meine Freundin,
I arrived in Frankfurt without any troubles. Except, Meike told me to call her when I arrived at the airport... which I did... but when I called, a voice said "Sorry call back later." I was so confused. It turns out she was at work and not able to talk at the point... she had started a new job or something. Anyway I waited about 1 1/2 hours.. then called again. This time no one picked up. I killed time chatting with an American guy I met who slept the night in the airport and was flying out at 1pm. After waiting around 5 hours all up I finally got in contact with Meike and caught the train to meet her in Schweinfurt. Had a loverly dinner with her and her parents, with Meike trying to enable us all to take part in a bi lingual conversation... her parents speaking German and a bit of English, Meike speaking fluently in both... and me speaking English and attempting to remeber a few things in German!
A soft warm bed was very welcome to my tired eyes and body! went to bed at 10.30 and didn't get up until 11am the next morning :) I still felt utterly exhausted though!
I spent around 4 1/2 hours on the train and I am now in München (Munich). I am lucky enough to be staying with Meike's sister at her place just outside the city. I am in the process of trying to meet up with Ashley and get down to Athens in time for our tour around the Greek islands... which starts on the 13th! Trying very hard to not spend too much money... its hard though, everything is soooo expensive!
Tschüß,
Kat

I'm now in Toronto... but thought seeing I was so slack at keeping up to date with what I've been up to, that I would go back and fill you in on a little.
